Our designer Joe has loved the ¡°Star Wars¡± franchise since he was a kid. ¡°I love this robot,¡± he says. ¡°It can't talk in words yet. It's very expressive and has a personality with just those beeping noises.¡± In a collaboration.¡± Joe and Norma, another MicasShine designer, teamed up to engineer an awesome sculpture that pays proper homage to the classic scene. Joe¡¯s favorite part of this design? ¡°The shiny silver paper that was used in combination with the white, printed detail pieces for R2-D2.¡±
